You have to turn it up!

I was hoping this would be nice and quiet as promised. This was the first time buying this brand and I needed it to work at low air speeds as well as higher so I fitted an air flow gauge to the tubing. Unfortunately, if the air speed is turned down too low, this thing can be heard throughout the house (and possibly outside at well). The vibration is INTENSE. Yet, if you turn the air speed up to medium or high, you can get the vibrations down to a tolerable sound that is almost comparable to the quieter, more expensive (yet still cheap) air pumps. I can't say I recommend this product.

Nice pump

Great price and great product. Quieter than others but I wrapped a face cloth around it to make it even quite and not vibrate as much.(this has helped a lot)
